Established for over 36 years, we are a growing firm with 13 Wealth Advisers and plans to expand further. We firmly believe in bringing our core values into our everyday practice, nurturing our relationships with you as we help you to navigate your future, evolving together over the course of our working relationship.
Corporate Chartered status will help us continue upskilling our Advisers to deliver high-quality, holistic advice
We’re now in the process of working towards Corporate Chartered status with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), over the course of the next 12 to 18 months.
This represents the highest level of professional recognition in financial services and is both part of our long-term development and our commitment to providing you with an excellent service at all times.
For us, Chartered status demonstrates our dedication to meeting the highest professional and ethical standards, ensuring continuous professional development for all our Advisers. It means they are consistently delivering high-quality, client-focused advice when discussing your finances with you.
It also aligns well with regulatory expectations and Consumer Duty principles, while reinforcing our ambitions to elevate ourselves beyond minimum industry standards.
For you, it’s a sign that you’re working with a firm committed to excellence in:
- Advice
- Service delivery
- Transparency, integrity, and trust
- Robust, well-governed financial planning processes.
When you work with us, you can access highly qualified Advisers focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes for you.
We’re committed to an ongoing investment in qualifications, development, and technical excellence across our whole team
We already have a strong representation of Chartered professionals in our team, with Senior and Developing Advisers alike achieving Chartered recognition:
- Tim Holmes (Managing Director) – Chartered Financial Planner
- Oli Faulkner and Richard Hughes (Senior Advisers) – Chartered Financial Planners
- Max Faulkner and Oscar Holmes (Advisers) – have recently completed the exams required to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status with the Chartered Insurance Institute. Max has already met the five-year industry experience requirement and can use the title now, while Oscar will be eligible to do so once he reaches five years’ experience in September 2026
- Colin Reid (Financial Planning Director) – holds both Chartered and Fellowship status.
Plus, we have a strong focus on maintaining and building upon these standards across the wider team. Our vision over the next 18 months is for the majority of our advisers to be Chartered, and for Chartered status to become embedded in our culture and long-term strategy.
Shaping high standards for the advisers of the future
We’re one of around 50 firms working directly with the CII as part of a pilot programme to redesign and implement Corporate Chartered status. This presents us with a fantastic opportunity to help shape future standards across our profession.
We also operate an in-house academy supporting Advisers from entry level through to Chartered, with a structured career pathway covering technical qualifications, practical advice skills, and professional and ethical standards.
This means we have a strong pipeline of high-quality, homegrown Advisers, supporting our growth plans and strengthening our ongoing commitment to you.
