Welcome to the first of our regular team updates. In these, we’ll take you behind the scenes at Salisbury House Wealth, sharing insights into how we work, what we’ve been up to, and shining a spotlight on individual team members.

This month, it’s all about training and upskilling. Providing a consistent service is important, and with this in mind, most of our existing advice team has been homegrown.

Continuing our tradition of promoting and training from within

Three of our advisers previously had admin roles with us, and at least four more advisers started their careers here.

We’re planning to continue expanding our team, with two more Advisers expected to join us in 2026, after Piper and Justyna joined us recently for 2025, following the success of Adam and Lewis in our 2024 intake.

They’re undertaking their Level 4 Financial Planner apprenticeships, which are delivered in conjunction with Skills Edge. This programme combines technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and client-focused skills.

The aim is that, by the end of the 22-month apprenticeship, our Trainees will have attained their professional qualifications ready to start their on-the-road training with our existing Advisers as they progress to Chartered Status and ultimately take on their own clients.

Here’s what they have to say about why they entered the profession and the benefits of the apprenticeship.

Adam Ellul Trainee Adviser

“I entered the financial services profession because I don’t want money to be confusing for others the way it once was for me. Salisbury House Wealth was appealing as the firm always puts clients’ needs first and consistently goes above and beyond to provide a professional and outstanding service.

“The apprenticeship offers far more than a degree. By putting us into real-world situations, we’re constantly learning, adapting, and growing, gaining invaluable experience at the same time.”

Lewis Roberson, Trainee Adviser

“I enjoyed studying for my economics A-level and knew I would like to pursue a career in financial services, doing something I find rewarding every day.

“Salisbury House Wealth was clear from the outset about its objectives. It’s a business built around delivering the best possible holistic advice, driven by a genuine client-first mentality.

“The qualifications to become an adviser are largely self-driven, so having the structure and support of an apprenticeship was hugely beneficial in helping me succeed.”

Piper Basi, Trainee Adviser

“I did some work experience with Salisbury House Wealth in October 2024, so when the opportunity arose to interview for the trainee adviser role, I went for it.

“I was interested in the apprenticeship route that the firm offered, as it meant I could have a structured learning environment while working.”

Justyna Barucha, Trainee Adviser

“I originally heard about Salisbury House Wealth from a friend who had completed an internship here and thought that the environment would suit me; she only had good things to say about the firm.

“Taking the apprenticeship allows for a mix of structured learning alongside valuable real-life experience, which is the way I learn best.”

We’re proud of the dedication our Trainee Advisers are putting into their professional training, which reflects our whole company ethos of offering a high-quality service to help our clients meet their long-term financial objectives.
